It's time to change my nail art :) This time I was completely inspired by marine theme. Why? Because I have a friend who's name is Marina, she lives near my apartments and we go to the driving school together :) I understand that there is nothing "similar" LOL but she totally inspired me for this NAUTICAL THEME nails :)
How To Get NAUTICAL THEME Nails:
1. Apply base coat and 2 coats of basic creme white nail polish.
2. With blue acrylic paint and small detail brush draw the horizontal lines.
3. Outline the blue horizontal lines with blue striping tape.
4. Stick gold hexagons on the accent finger in anchor shape.
5. Seal everything with 2 layers of clear top coat, because sometimes the striping tape is easily peels off, especially on the edges of nails..

Here is the blue striping tape I'm talking about. It self-adhesive nail decorating tape. Which available in many other different colors. I have near 10 of different colors and I like them all. It's hard to place and cut striping tape right for the non dominant hand but practice works wonders!
Have U tried any striping tape to decorate the nails?

DeleteMaybe it is easier to draw a colored varnish?

Instead of the striping tape? Sure, U can! But the final look wouldn't look as interesting and good!
